I'm back?

It's been a no man's land of vastness as to how long I've been away from this blog. Do people still blog? Most of the blogs I follow have stopped in their tracks and I find myself missing them from time to time. There was a time when blogs were very popular and still, people all over update them regularly, but my blogging diminished when certain blogs when poof in a very short time period. I have seven friends on here and the majority are real life friends I have but I do have a few online people that were kind enough to follow me even if they do not know me. For years I've been trying to find a place to talk with other horror fans, forums are plentiful but some have too many people. I feel like I cannot get to know anyone when so many people are shooting opinions back and forth across pages and I get swallowed up by the masses.

One of the best (and only) times I had on a forum was the one at sleepawaycampfilms.com which has been closed a long time now. There were (an estimation) of a thousand or so members, maybe not even that much, signed up but only 30 or 40 who talked daily/weekly there. I could talk in a discussion without all the member cramping and talked with some cool people. A time I felt like part of a group that enjoyed horror like myself, the ones I've joined later either had way too many people or such an established group I felt like an outsider. It is strange to say since I'm anonymous that I felt on the outside. I'm still trying to find a forum that's not too large but is in the confines of what I love genre-wise. If anyone out there has a forum like that please let me know, I would love to discuss some topics!

The last few days I've considered signing up to Devianart because I used to make graphic art but I don't do much unless I'm designing a layout or banner. I just updated the look of my blog since I am coming back for some occasional bantering and that's a much as I bother with. I've been making gifs mainly, the turds of the gif world, but I do like trying my hand at it. I just think other people use superior programs or ones made after 1998. I like my classics and I don't do enough to care for all the extra features newer Photoshop versions have, I've been there and had more issues with newer versions than my old version 7.

I've been writing stories the last few years while not on here and I haven't finished any of them. I really want to complete one story I've written and I hope I can say I have in the future. I will add my fanfiction account on here that I still use, but I might as well post my old ones below. I'm embarrassed for most of it, it's not very good, but I had more creativity then than I do now.

Don't be to harsh if you do read any of it, I was a teenager when I wrote it and most of it is completely mary sue and trope-a-licious. The current account will be on the sidebar with my other links. If I get a Deviantart account I will add that as well. 

To clear things up, I will be making future posts, probably about what I'm watching on Netflix or about a book or just random things plaguing my mind. Ya know, what I used to post on here. So until next time...
